johnnymick
I didn't realize it, but tonight was AJs 1000th game for the White Sox. I am not sure exactly where that fits in our history, but he has to be one of the top catchers we have had. He's helped win us a World Series and anchored the spot behind the base for a long time. This offseason will be a tough decision, especially if he keeps up the offensive production as he has been. Do we keep him or let him go? Cali
Just looking at that list, Paulie will be #2 all time by the time his current contract is up. He signs another extension he'll be #1.

elrockinMT
KW, if we don't keep AJ for two more years this team should be ashamed of themselves. I will even kick in some money. Spare change from the couch is all I have but I will give it to the front office for AJ's contract
LittleHurt05
For supposedly being one of the biggest assholes in MLB, AJ has sure made himself a nice spot in Chicago. Don't really hear the bad teammate stuff here.

Swingandalongonetoleft
From 2005-onward, AJ is the face of the Sox to me after the obvious Buehrle/Konerko combination. I wouldn't mind seeing him finish his career here, although realistically that would entail an eventual backup role.
Steve9347
I f***ing love AJ Pierzynski, always have, and you haters who have have been clamoring for him to move along better recognize. He's very likely the 2nd best catcher in White Sox history, and the best is one of the best of all-time. AJ? Yes. Stretch.

LittleHurt05
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 30, 2012 -> 10:12 PM) It will come out after he leaves. Probably. But it doesn't seem to have affected the team's performance. The quotes from that player survey made it seem like AJP especially goes after youngsters, but with all the rookies on this staff, they are doing well with him catching. kev211
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 30, 2012 -> 10:12 PM) It will come out after he leaves. It would come out with this media and this city long before he leaves if it happened. Plenty of players have left this city since he came. In fact Konerko is the only one left from when he joined it. If he was a bad teammate one of those people who are not here any longer would have said something.
oldsox
QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Jun 29, 2012 -> 10:17 PM) I've seen 18 of 'em play. 19 here. I saw Luke Appling as a pinch hitter, still fouled off a bunch of pitches. I might have seen Tresh play, just don't have a specific memory of him. That would be 20.
