Rex Hudler
I thought Honel was okay tonight.... He never got up to or past 90 mph.. stayed between 87-89 w/ 88 the most common reading........ His fastball was erratic and even though he threw strikes, he didn't command the ball real well within the zone. Curveball has 12-6 break with nasty bite. He didn't throw if for a lot of strikes, however. I didn't see a lot of changeups, but I do remember one that was excellent. Location was good and hitter was way out in front. His results were good and he did a good job of overcoming a tough start, so he gets points there. Overall I would give him a B. Wasn't as polished as I had hoped, but it is only one game. Jim Fainter
I love the way King hung in there. Super slow start, but he kept plugging away. I bet he does well next year on whatever A Ball team he plays for. Anderson, King, Nanita, Sweeney. No particular order. Unfortunately, every GM in the business will see their numbers, too, and they will be on Kenny's doorstep next July, right next to his turnip truck. southsider2k5
Reed is up over .400 right? And it was real nice to see Honel do well in his first real AA, and to see Jon Rauch step up for his teammates.
