AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!

That kind of stuff also deflates the chasers, though. Many times in the past decade I would be excited about a great, tough fought win only to look at the scoreboard to see the Twins come back on a team and render the Sox win moot.

oh yes, valid point. All of last year was like that for us.

Dammit, these wins would be much more satisfying if the Indians/Tigers lost every now and then. But they just keep winning right along with us.

The Tigers played the Rays, Twins and Royals while the Sox were playing the Yankees, Rangers and Jays. This was catch up week for the Tigers and they haven't been able to do anything.

Think about how they feel with not gaining any ground despite how they are playing.

I agree, not losing ground was just as important, given the respective opponents. Plus the Sox only play 3 more games at home this month after the break. And we travel to both Texas and Detroit. Some will say a trip to Boston is a challenge but like the national media, they haven't come to grips with the fact that the red sox suck. I look forward to that one like I do a trip to Seattle. Same with Minny.
