ewokpelts
Hey Everyone, While we're all big Sox fans, not everyone knows the various tricks and schemes to make your fandom cheaper(or have more "value"). Thankfully, I know a few of these things. And it wouldn't be nice for me to hog them all and not let you guys have some fun! From tickets to parking, and even concessions, there is always a way to make your Sox experience positive instead of turning into TSB (typical sox bulls***). I'll be posting stuff periodically here so that fans can take advantage of what the sox are offering. Not all of these are as obvious as "go on 1/2 price monday" or "park by the train station", but most of these are good suggestions. To start off, I'l lpost something I JUST found online. Elvis Night tix (on 8/3) are discounted up to $15 off the non-dynamic price(the price that was available when tix first went on sale) when you go to http://www.whitesox.com/uic and use the discount code UIC. I'll post throughout this thread offers as they come, and I'll try and post a "homestand highlight" as the boys get off the road. And, if anyone has thier own trick or deal to share, feel free to add! Edited July 12, 2012 by ewokpelts
ewokpelts
I also post a lot of deals on yelp. You can look at them here: http://www.yelp.com/topic/chicago-official...ides?category=5 Note how I made a funny in the title! I also have a facebook page up. Search "Secret Sox" and you'll find it. Anyone can join the group, but I do have to "approve" new members. I used to not do that, but we get too many scammers that post ads for asian mail order brides. ewokpelts
Süper Secret tip: Make sure you take one of the in-park surveys. The kids handling that wear green shirts. Not only do you get $1 in comiskey cash, but you can also get something even cooler depending on how you answer questions about tickets.... SnB
Has anyone ever done the wings n rings free parking thing? Is it easy? I've never like the "free shuttle" to games b/c you're reliant on a bus to pick you up and bring you back to your vehicle. However, wings n rings is close enough where you could just walk back to your car.

IlliniKrush
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 28, 2012 -> 02:50 PM) Laurence Holmes #Whitesox offering $7 upper deck tix/$17 lower deck for next homestand including #tigers. whitesox.com/soxsave #nomoreexcuses I see $9 and $20 on the dynamic pricing list...but close enough I guess. Sox fans aren't making up their minds on that Detroit series until that week. So the "excuse" could be "they're 4 games out of first." LittleHurt05
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 28, 2012 -> 02:50 PM) Laurence Holmes #Whitesox offering $7 upper deck tix/$17 lower deck for next homestand including #tigers. whitesox.com/soxsave #nomoreexcuses Considering how many Tigers fans there are around, tf there are a lot of empty seats for the Tigers series, then the problem lies deeper than just the Sox fanbase. SexiAlexei
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 28, 2012 -> 02:50 PM) Laurence Holmes #Whitesox offering $7 upper deck tix/$17 lower deck for next homestand including #tigers. whitesox.com/soxsave #nomoreexcuses This really irritates me. I bought tickets to the Detroit series, and 2 weeks before the series starts, tickets are discounted even further? Why would I as a Sox fan want to buy tickets in advance these days?
