southsider2k5
So Floyd can be recalled the 23rd, if ready. Chicago White Sox @whitesox The #WhiteSox placed RHP Gavin Floyd on the 15-day DL (retroactive to July 8) with right elbow tendinitis

hogan873
What would we have done without all these young arms coming up? As far as farm systems go, you could say the Sox's was great for about 42 seconds at the beginning of the season. Now the farm has taken up residence in the bullpen. southsider2k5
Dan Hayes @DanHayesCSN Gavin Floyd said Mon might not test forearm/elbow until Weds to let it quiet down. Move retro to 7/8. Can start in 6 days. #WhiteSox
TaylorStSox
It's all my fault. If I hadn't bragged about the Sox excellent record of keeping pitchers healthy, none of this would have happened.
CanOfCorn
When do we start the Fire Herm thread?
elrockinMT
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 17, 2012 -> 07:16 PM) Dan Hayes @DanHayesCSN Gavin Floyd said Mon might not test forearm/elbow until Weds to let it quiet down. Move retro to 7/8. Can start in 6 days. #WhiteSox This sounds reasonable don't you think? Both for the team and Floyd. Rest seems to be what he needs and then take it a bit easy when he returns
southsider2k5
Mark Gonzales @MDGonzales Floyd eligible to return July 23, but that's one day after Sox need a starter at Detroit. Axelrod lined up to take that start.
