The Gooch
Who is the White Sox MVP up to this point?

BigEdWalsh
I voted for Rios. A good case could be made for several guys which is a good thing.
Melissa1334
sale. 11 wins,8-0 in 10 games following a sox loss

Jake
If Rios wants to keep his past 20+ games' pace for the next 80, he'll win more than the White Sox MVP
NorthSideSox72
I may have voted Quintana if that was an option. Losing Danks and replacing him with some AA pitcher another team left unprotected, putting on a mid-2's ERA... that right there is the difference between being in first by 3.5, and being muddled with the Tigers and Indians. greg775
I'm glad Sale is getting the overwhelming response. It's Sale IMO.
The Gooch
QUOTE (SOXOBAMA @ Jul 18, 2012 -> 03:53 PM) Ventura I thought about putting Ventura on there but decided against it. I was just looking at the stats on the White Sox website and thought that a case could be made for a lot of guys so far. Who would have thought a month and a half ago that Rios would only be 1 point behind Konerko in average?

GoSox05
I went with Sale, but Rios is having a really nice year.
Y2Jimmy0
I'm glad Sale is getting the overwhelming response. It's Sale IMO. [/quote I agree with this. He is an Ace. He's the most important. When the Sox considered putting him into the bullpen, many on this board (including myself) wanted to be sellers because of it. Overreaction? Maybe. But without Sale in the rotation, I don't view the Sox as contenders.
Ross
I voted for Rios. Don't think he has been the best player this year, but provided a huge boost that nobody saw coming. I guess you didn't see Chris Sale doing this well either.

ShandyMan
sale hands down. it has gotten to the point you can pencil in a win everytime he pitches. if not sale, id say rios.

kjshoe04
Tough to choose between Sale and Rios. I went with Sale.
chw42
Chris Sale for pitchers, Rios for hitters.
kapzk
Most certainly it has been Rios or Sale. Rios really picked up when Dunn and PK went slumping from June.

kitekrazy
Robin Ventura gets my RoY vote. Nice job for a 1st year manager with previous experience. I guess this organization grew em right in the pre KW era.
