19/7 - White Sox @ Red Sox: Split to play for

Trayce Thompson has 17 homers this year. Why have I seen some posters here say that they "haven't lost all hope for him just yet?" It seems like he's fulfilling that potential quite well right now. Am I missing something? Poor K/BB ratio?

Take a look at every number other than hr.

Never mind. I see his AVG and OBP are barely over .235 and .305, respectively. Oops.

The power is there but outside of that, the K numbers are atrocious and he can barely hit worth his weight. When he does make solid contact good things usually happen though.
