If their pitching sucks, what does that say for our hitters?

That they are streaky as hell, like for crying out loud Porcello has prolly the highest WHIP in the big league, and they could only muster one run off him. I know this team is capable of more.

What difference will there be between Beckham and Hudson at 2nd. None, Hudson is as good if not better defensively at 2nd than Beckham. And both suck at offense, while Hudson has shown he has done better b4, but prolly cuz of age he sucks now.

Porcello owns us this year. Turner is making us look pathetic. Detroit is not overrated.

This. Their pitching staff sucks beside JV and defense is bad as well. There's a reason why the season is 162 games.

Fister is very good.

Check out his record with DET after he joined them last year. They only lost, as a team, 1 or 2 of his starts.

Scherzer is leading the AL in K/9. He was consistently hitting 97-98 in the 7th inning against the Angels this past week.

Porcello is 3-0 against the Sox with an ERA of nearly 1. He's 23, so he's done all that before the age Verlander started pitching for DET after Old Dominion.

Turner is one of their best pitching prospects and Drew Smyly was very very underrated for them, their version of Jose Quintana.

Hudson is not as good defensively as Beckham, and he hit about .160 last time the Sox let him play.

And Escobar has shown he can really hit. Beckham is better than him in every aspect except maybe Escobar runs a little better.

He probably is better, but he isn't performing, so try something different. Shake it up. Try to do something to light this teams fire.

Excuses for Beckham are over time to step up or ship out.

Put him back in the 2nd spot where he was playing well. Go with this lineup

ADA

Beckham

Rios

Dunn

Konerko

AJ

Youk

Viciedo

Ramirez

Fister was a fluke for them last year. He is not as good as those numbers indicate during that time after he was acquired. If anything he is high 3 to low 4 era pitcher at best

We sure are going through a hard and bad stretch of games here. Humber gives up 4 homers. That has been a consistent issue with our pitchers for the most pasrt. They give up way too many long balls. Our offesne is pathetic right now and the play we see is even worse then pathetic. But, this team can play well and I am certain it will soon. We are still in this thing. Live game to game day to day and when you have these stretches it is worse than having teeth pulled for sure. Look long term
