southsider2k5
Jon Morosi @jonmorosi Hamels extension goes through 2018 and includes a club/vesting option for 2019. Limited no-trade provision. #Phillies Bob Nightengale @BNightengale If Hamels fails to reach necessary innings for his 2019 option to vest, the #Phillies have club option to bring him back at reduced salary. Chisoxfn
So is Lee or Halladay going to get dealt? I don't expect the Phils to keep all 3. They are in a financial mess, with 96M going to 4 guys. Barring them maintaining just an exorbitant payroll, someone will have to go.
LittleHurt05
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 25, 2012 -> 10:28 AM) So is Lee or Halladay going to get dealt? I don't expect the Phils to keep all 3. They are in a financial mess, with 96M going to 4 guys. Barring them maintaining just an exorbitant payroll, someone will have to go. I could see them staying put with all 3. They still sell out the ballpark constantly and they seem to think they have another WS run in this team, despite this year's performance. If Halladay gets hurt again, his 2014 option won't vest anyway.
