Bud Selig says on "The Mike Lupica Show" he will expand instant replay to include trapped balls in the outfield & balls hit down the line.

 

Could be a Diamond Club thread but I figured it was relevant enough for PHT.

They should also expand it to calls at bases. When that's done, I'll be satisfied with instant replay in baseball.

It's easy to say it, tougher to implement it. We need to see how the hell they do this if they are baserunners.

 

There's still going to be a ton of umpire judgment in placing them, and people will get pissed with that too.

 

I just hope they make the calls quickly. Baseball can be long enough.
