Chisoxfn
QB, RB, CB, Safetey, Dline, WR Those are the Bears needs, imo. I think they should look for a wide-reciever via free agency, draft a qb, draft a fast rb(I want McGahee damn it), then get a corner as well as safety(One Via Draft, one Via Free Agency, ie Veteran). I also think they need to pick up a reciever via the draft as well as in free agency. As far as the Dline goes, they could use a future dt, just look for someone that has some upside and is a project type. I'm pretty happy with the oline, we have a lot of bodies and when health yit should be pretty good and pretty deep. Imo, Thomas isn't the answer at running back, I like Peterson though. We all know we need a qb(I want one of these 4, I'm happy with all of them: Leftwich, Ragone, Palmer, Banks) I think Mcgahee is the best back to enter the draft in years(If he enters it). Of course if their was a Charles Woodson or Champ Bailey available I'd snag him and hope Ragone or Banks falls to u in round 2, if they don't move up. Chisoxfn
Bulger is great, but it would cost a #1 pick. The rams are the only team that can negotiate with him and right now, I Think they are probably thinking they'd rather deal Warner.

Chisoxfn
Well he's an exclusive right free agent or something, so all the Rams have to do is basically offer him the minimum and we know thats going to happen.

Chisoxfn
Well, if he signs a one year deal, then next year he'll become a restricted free agent where other teams can make offers, but if the Rams make a tender offer to him then it could cost the Bears as much as a 1st and 3rd rounder plus whatever we decide to pay him. Then again, they could forget to check the Box next year

baggio202
rebuild the defense first...is there areal shut down cornerback in this draft...if there is cant miss stud at CB then id go that way..a real SS would be nice too in the likes of tony parrish (angelo should be shot for letting him go and replacing him with mr irrelevent)...speedy outside LB would be next..then a wr/rb.. my QB would either be burris if he somehow gets a chance to prove himself or go after kurt warner who i think st louis would deal over bulger...or if there is a better free agent option at QB then go that way.. i wouldnt draft a QB because the one thing the bears dont do is develop QB's...we mised the boat on drew bledsoe..he would have been perfect.. Chisoxfn
I like our depth at the linebacker slot. Caldwell, Knight, Holdman back(At a cheaper price of course) and then maybe Colvin as well as the guy thats been starting lately(His name slips me right now). The only corner I know of rated really high is Oklohoma's corner whose a two way player. I definately agree with you on safety, but to me that can be addressed in the 3rd or 4th round. I like Howard for some reason. I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more of him. You forgot about this other linebacker we have...I wanna say his name is Urlacher. I don't think Colvin will be back. Jjav829
I would like to see Carson Palmer, but I don't think that he will be there. I guess Letwich would be worth a shot, though I am not his biggest fan. If McGahee declares, I would like to see him, but Im sure the Bears will give Freight Train another shot, and chalk up his season to the OLine injuries. I would like to see a speed back here rather than a power back, even though it won't happen.
Cy Young Porzio
i would much rather see us hold onto colvin than holdman. One, no one knows how holdman will play off of injury, and two, colvin is improving this year leading the team in sacks. I would like to get kasey urlacher in his place
Chisoxfn
I like picking up Casey Urlacher as a safety to see what he can do. As far as Colvin goes, I like him a ton, but right now I'd tag him and see what we can get on the trade market for him. I'd say we could get a first rounder and 3rd rounder of maybe even a 1st and 2nd and if we could do that it would be huge. I like Colvin a ton, but he looks lost out their in coverage. Then renegotiate with Holdman, look to sign a veteran or draft a linebacker, and go with Knight, Howard, Urlacher, Holdman, Caldwell and another. Thats still a real deep core.
