Noonskadoodle
Per MLBTR the Red Sox are taking calls regarding Ryan Sweeney. Wonder if KW gives a call to them to help bolster the bench, & he could be a guy who gives DeAza, Rios, & Tank some breaks down the stretch. Wonder what they will be asking for in return? daggins
Probably not enough of an upgrade over Danks to be worth it. Team needs infield depth more.
Jake
Probably not a ton better than Danks an you definitely dont want them both.
Chisoxfn
Sweeney is more experienced and would be a solid pinch-hitter, but bigger need in the infield, especially since I happen to have faith in Danks.
southsider2k5
Danks has done a great job in being the backup OF to this point. I see no need to trade for another 4th OF.
oldsox
Sweenless always seems to get off to great start, then fade.
caulfield12
If we're bringing back any former White Sox, it should be Uribe. IF IF IF the Dodgers will help us out on the contract. They're soon to be swimming in money, and Hanley/Dee Gordon make him superfluous on that roster.

sunofgold
It would be nice to get Sweeney. However, we would have to give up something and Ventura barely plays his bench. And rosters expand in about a month. Going to be able to bring up a Johnson, Jackson, or Mitchell for some more OF depth. Jordan Dunks for about a month should provide enough backup OF coverage. Really need a guy who can backup 3B and SS right now. Of course Uribe would be great. And since Uribe could also backup 2nd, then Orlando Odawg could be replaced. Bubba Philips
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 30, 2012 -> 09:12 AM) Uribe isn't starting. Juan is the missing piece we need. Now, we can have a third 05 member on the team.
