chetkincaid
He should have been out. How was AJ supposed to throw him out? Good Job Twins. You're 14 games under .500 and 11 games behind us. f*** off.
SoxAce
QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Jul 30, 2012 -> 10:18 PM) Well that f***ing sucks. Wasn't he inside the line? Bria Myles is incredible. And yes he was.
fathom
This was a carbon copy of so many terrible losses in the Dome. Time to beat up on Blackburn tomorrow.

caulfield12
The key is we have to beat the crap again out of Blackburn tomorrow. It's not going to be as easy as last Tuesday's game...
Frank_Thomas
Can we never use the metrodome in a game thread name again. That name alone brings us bad luck, this was a classic metrodome meltdown.
southsideirish71
Another umpire who doesn't understand the game. Fire them all and start over with umpires who give a damn.
fathom
QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jul 31, 2012 -> 03:23 AM) Another umpire who doesn't understand the game. Fire them all and start over with umpires who give a damn. It's unbelievable how the play was right in front of him and he chickened out from making the tough call against the home team. caulfield12
QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Jul 30, 2012 -> 09:22 PM) He should have been out. How was AJ supposed to throw him out? Good Job Twins. You're 14 games under .500 and 11 games behind us. f*** off. Ahead of the Royals though, lol. Well, they were the team with the momentum...and we gave it right back to them in the first. Too many defensive miscues the last two nights, and Span made a great play on the Rios ball to turn the momentum back to the Twins. We got beat by the "PIRAnHAS" again, with the bottom 3 in the line-up doing the damage. WHAT NEW, STONE PONY??
chetkincaid
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 30, 2012 -> 10:22 PM) Bria Myles is incredible. And yes he was. You damn right she is. That's pretty much perfection right there my friend.

Adrian Johnson, right? That deserves an e-mail barrage to the Commissioner's office on the replay issue. Who's the supervisor of umpires these days? Not Steve Palermo anymore....trying to think. And 3 hit White Sox batters. We need to kick their butts tmrw.
chetkincaid
I honestly think that sometimes the umps get tired towards the end of the game and try to just get the thing over with as soon as possible.
greg775
That bottom of the ninth inning seemed like it took about one minute for the Twins to bust the tie.

greg775
QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jul 31, 2012 -> 03:23 AM) Another umpire who doesn't understand the game. Fire them all and start over with umpires who give a damn. That's what is sad. Somehow the umpires became bigger than the game of baseball. A huge part of what is wrong with baseball is the umpiring. I guess it's the ump union. Must be nice. Umpires are a disgrace to the great game of baseball. Like you said, THEY DO NOT CARE!!!!!

bulokis
We need to shore up our defense side of the game. Maybe we lost focus after trading Escobar . I am liking our chances because this team has more fight in them compared to last years' team.
