Bighurt52235
This game is blackedout on MLB.com. On ESPN, I'm getting the Cards and Phillies. Are you locals getting the Sox game on ESPN?

Bighurt52235
I know that, but in Oregon, that doesn't halp me. I'm asking because I see no reason for it to be blackedout if ESPN isn't showing it anywhere.

Well, they're assholes for doing that and not even putting it on ESPN Alternate. I might just go to the local yard and take some hacks, because it's tough to watch a struggling team on the gamecast. winninguglyin83
the sunday night blackout on ESPN blows. Sox fans want to watch the Sox, not the Cardinals. Just because they're trying to force us to watch the Cardinals doesn't mean we have to do it. radio only for me tonight -- so plenty of play by play would be helpful
BridgeportHeather
Just because a game is scheduled on Sunday night doesn't mean it's guaranteed to be on ESPN. This game wasn't scheduled to be played on ESPN anyhow.

winninguglyin83
no, but it's on Fox and those of us living out of town can't watch it because Directv blacks it out on the satellite dish because ESPN makes them do it. they try to force you to watch the ESPN game. unlike the NFL, which lets fans watch the games of the teams they want to see. that's just another reason the NFL keeps growing in popularity, while MLB is sagging. MLB doesn't understand customer relations. They piss off the best fans they have -- the ones who buy the satellite package done ranting
