I guess this is the place for this.

I am traveling to Chicago in about 2 months. And I was planning on surprising and doing something special for my girlfriend one of the days we are there. I wanted to get a Limo to take us around the city and see some places we haven't been able to go to and take us to dinner that night. Does anyone have a service they recommend that is fairly priced for just 2 or so hours?

Uber.

Reddy works on one now apparently.

I went on two with family when I was younger. They were fun but I prefer having more freedom to get out and explore rather than just being in a port for a few hours.

I havent been on one in over 15 years so I am sure ships have changed etc.

yeah this is legit, you're really only in port for 6-10 hours depending on the itinerary so you'll rarely get to see the nightlife of any particular locale. and generally speaking you're dealing with a blue hair crowd of people, but again, this depends on the cruise line and itinerary.

So it appears I'm going to New Orleans for a bachelor party in March. Anyone ever been there? I think we're staying right in the French Quarter

I went for a bachelor party in 2011. There is plenty to do in the French Quarter. Eat like a king. Drink like a king. Hit up Cafe Du Monde in the morning for some coffee and beignets. Find someplace with good, fresh oysters. Find a place with a good muffuletta and a place with good po boys. Enjoy the women entertainment (and hold out until you get no cover tickets if they are charging). Find a cool jazz spot (some good ones over on Frenchman Street). Go to Commander's Palace. If you can swing it, it's the best restaurant there. .25 cent (I said cent) martinis M-F for lunch, although dinner is best (jacket required and reservations are a must).

Earlier this morning I booked a trip in May for my wife and I. I can't wait. New Orleans is an absolute dump of a town, but man, the food and night life. It's a great time.

I actually just booked a trip for New Orleans with my wife and 2 other couple's for the last week of July. I know it's going to be crazy hot but that's the only time all 6 of us could do it. The advice I got was stay out all night when it's not as hot and sleep during the afternoon to avoid being out at the hottest time of day.

I'm going to Spain March 12-22nd. Madrid for 5 days then Valencia. Trying to go to a soccer game though I can't really figure out how tickets quite work. We're right next to real madrid stadium do I'd love to do that but it seems they only have "vip" section tickets on sale. Anyone have experience buy tickets to big soccer team games? Do they usually make tickets available closer to the game? Right now the date of the game isn't even set in stone so I'm not sure if it's sold out or if tickets just aren't available yet.

Also any Spain recommendations would be great.

We went to Madrid 3 years ago, I loved it, it was awesome. Don't have any specific recommendations, but can tell you an idea of what we liked.

-All over the city there are 'plazas",find one on the map, usually you can find some good restaurants and tapa places around there

- The subway system works great, it goes everywhere and runs like every 5 minutes, very easy to figure out too

- We saw one of the flamenco shows, that was really cool. We just found a random club where they perform, I will try to see if I can remember where it was.

I only really visited Barcelona, and only saw Madrid for about 4 hours (had a long layover there), but really beautiful city (though my buddy said he like Barca more). And as mentioned, go to plazas, grab some food, and enjoy the views. Madrid was the same way as Barca in terms of just beautiful women walking around.

Both Madrid and Barcelona subway system make it super easy to see everything there is to see. Barca has more tourist attraction I believe and while both cities are beautiful, Barca being a port town just takes the cake.

As far as soccer tickets it's not going to be easy, I believe you need to reach out to a formal Real Madrid fan club, they have those all over the world and try to purchase tickets through them. If you still have troubles, I have bunch of friends in Europe who are into futbol, I will see if I can get some info for you.

Don't focus on just seeing Real Madrid. They will be the hardest ticket and Madrid is also home to Atletico Madrid, Getafe and Ray Vallecano. Real and Atletico are in the Champions League and may have a match in that time so that could be why the matches aren't set in stone yet - games get moved frequently in Europe. Also, in Valencia you have two options: Valencia and Levante. Villareal is also a short train ride from Valencia but they could be in the Europa quarter finals during that time. Keep checking each club, I'd be surprised if Rayo and Getafe matches always sold out.

Got a very exciting trip to beautiful Cleveland this weekend for a wedding. Anyone ever been to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame? Worth a visit?

It's alright. I guess worth a visit if you've never been but not worth a second visit IMO. There is a casino down the street from there if that's more your thing.

Cleveland is really underrated. Not big into music, particularly old music, but the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame might be the best musuem I've been to. It's truly amazing.

No. Its rated exactly where it should be. It's a crap city with very little redeeming qualities.

Slymans is the only thing I would say is ok.

I'd say it's just more mediocre, which is better than the reputation of worst city in America outside of Detroit it sometimes gets. I would stay too long or anything. The Rock and Roll HoF is worth the trip at least once.
