fathom
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 4, 2012 -> 01:11 AM) His ERA is around 6.00 for the last year. Its just about time Humber finds a new line of work. He gets one more start next week. If he gets bombed, you send him to the pen. This has been just an abysmal outing by him, as he's been unable to get the big out. Dick Allen
QUOTE (daa84 @ Aug 3, 2012 -> 08:11 PM) how in the f*** did this guy throw the best pitched game ive ever seen He gives you a few teasers, and of course the ultimate teaser, but then he goes back to being Phil Humber. That doesn't help the Sox win.
Melissa1334
Well its going to suck being in such a close race with det, having to throw humber out there every 6th day. Terrible

fathom
I missed the first inning, and just watched the highlights. Two quick thoughts: - sure seemed like a bad gamble to send the slow-footed Dunn on Rios' single - AJ did a bad job on the Trumbo single of letting the throw get to him. Dick Allen
Other than the perfect game, his ERA has to be around 7.00. I think if he threw a 2 hitter that day, he would be in Charlotte or another organization or out of baseball right now. elrockinMT
QUOTE (Caesar @ Aug 4, 2012 -> 02:12 AM) We need to score this inning to get the momentum back otherwise we may be in trouble the rest of this game. Ventura needs to take Humber out. 6 hits & three walks allowed in 3 innings. But he will let him go 5 or 6 I bet
