We'll see him again in September. Actually, I wouldn't even be opposed to bringing Wise up and sending Danks back to Charlotte for a month so he can get a good solid months of at bats in before rosters expand Edited August 3, 2012 by ChiSox_Sonix

fathom
I like it, as it's someone that can actually run the bases well off the bench. Also, I doubt Ventura will lead him off in games

Princess Dye
As Wise lives in Charlotte, it may just be he signed with us to be at home, regardless of any hope of a callup Edited August 3, 2012 by Jose Paniagua

Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Aug 3, 2012 -> 04:31 PM) Does Devenski have much potential or is he just minor league filler? He was our 21st pick in the 2011 draft, so probably not. Houston's GM tried to say the PTBNL was a big part of the trade, but it really doesn't appear that way. Houston's GM tried to say the PTBNL was a big part of the trade, but it really doesn't appear that way. Yep. It was that comment that had me worried, but now I can breath a sigh of relief. For all I know the guy can turn into a Liriano, but right now, he was nothing more then a guy with a limited chance at every making the show. The Myers deal really looks good (on the diamond). There are still the personal issues that I have a problem with.
