Melissa1334
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 10, 2012 -> 09:18 PM) or he's smart and knows that getting a fight and getting suspended for 5 games would hurt the team way more than winning any fight would help the team? doubt it. its one thing with padilla, but when someone punches you in the face, yea you go after them. but whatever, who knows
flavum
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 10, 2012 -> 09:18 PM) or he's smart and knows that getting a fight and getting suspended for 5 games would hurt the team way more than winning any fight would help the team? The Padilla one, he should have. Right now isn't a good time for a suspension, even if it's 3 games. But the point is, he'll never rush the mound. fathom
You have to wonder about Melvin leaving McCarthy in to start the inning. He looked really bad last inning, but we'll take it.

greg775
QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 11, 2012 -> 02:14 AM) A fastball got away from him. Hit Cespedes in the back. McCarthy drilled AJ on purpose. AJ looked at him all tough, and did nothing as usual. Warnings issued. That's unfair if you are implying AJ was a p**** there.

If AJ charges the mound, then he's a dumba$$ for getting himself suspended in a pennant race. It's a lose-lose.
