JohnCangelosi
I swear Beckham squares up about 1 ball a week. And I feel like I'm not exaggerating.

Soxfest
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 11, 2012 -> 09:21 PM) If this score holds, Thornton will be tied for 2nd on the team in losses and tied for the most losses of any reliever in the majors. He was pure s*** last year and lead the same catagories. You can only hit your thumb with a hammer so many before you say f*** it and move your thumb. greg775
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 02:21 AM) If this score holds, Thornton will be tied for 2nd on the team in losses and tied for the most losses of any reliever in the majors. He should give some of his money back like Bob Knight that one year at Texas Tech. He's not worth anything but major league minimum money.
greg775
What a horrible at bat by Beckham. He pops up a lot.
fathom
QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 02:23 AM) LOL, Beckham popping up everything trying to be a HR hitter now. So sad He's not getting his arms extended, which causes his bat speed to significantly diminish.
caulfield12
It's almost like Ozzie with some of his favorite veterans. The only way to stop Ventura from losing all these games is for KW to somehow get Thornton off the roster. Wanne
Thornton should have been dealt before the deadline while you could still get SOMETHING for him at least. I just don't trust him no matter what the situation is...
Soxfest
Oak scores Sox do not answer this would be a BAD loss. Edited August 12, 2012 by Soxfest
Noonskadoodle
These are the kind of games that KILL me when the Sox lose em. So winnable but just poor execution & boneheaded decisions could cost us a game. 4 outs to work with, let's go!!! greg775
I'm glad we won last night. This reminds me of most series against KC where we gonna be lucky that we got one game.

chw42
Balfour will face 2,3,4 in the 9th. At least that's something. We gotta get three outs first though.

ChiliIrishHammock24
It's like Rios has no awareness of situations when on defense. You can NOT afford to let the runner get to 2nd on that. Just take the single, that 9th run could be HUGE.
