He'll be back in 3 weeks anyways, and the pen definitely needs some help.

He should be back for sure in Sept. Maybe not a real bad thing for Danks if he can play every day and get the ABs, but it sucks all the same for Wise to get the nod over Danks. Thanks for the walkoff Friday night, Jordan!!!!!

The legend of Jordan Danks fascinates me. He did hit it, but there are a lot of left handed hitters that would have hit the pitch he took deep very hard, probably even Dwayne Wise.

This makes sense, The Sox need another lefty in the bullpen and Wise can do what Danks does. Danks gets some ABs and comes back in 20 days.

Danks can do what Wise does AND has been doing an admirable job doing what he does. I agree though with the logic here. Just complaining that it's Wise staying up in favor of Danks. Your statement, "He did hit it, but there are a lot of left handed hitters that would have hit the pitch he took deep very hard, probably even Dwayne Wise" ....really dumb, sorry.

Four months ago he was worthless.

Dumb is not looking at the facts. Wise career OPS .639 and close to .800 this season. Danks OPS after his homer, .621.

I guess the thing is is Jordan's arrow is pointing up....Wheezy's is down. If you can send Jordan down to get him everyday at bats for a few weeks I guess that's not a bad thing. He'll be up soon enough. If this was like a permanent roster spot I really don't see how you'd take Wise over Danks tho...

Supposedly, it's going to be Santiago.

Think Veal might be the better choice....let Hector continue to start at CHAR, and we've got the long man (for now) in Humber over Axelrod.

If nothing else, Santiago's been pitching like he doesn't belong in AAA.
