flavum
And homefield advantage goes to the NL champion because of ALL-Star MVP Melky Cabrera. Another banner day for MLB.
Balta1701
QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 15, 2012 -> 03:00 PM) And homefield advantage goes to the NL champion because of ALL-Star MVP Melky Cabrera. Another banner day for MLB. To be fair...he's not the only reason the AL lost that game.

The Ginger Kid
With testing, this sort of boggles the mind, unless some players are somehow getting away with it, so others are willing to rolling the dice. Huge hit to the Gigantes.
flavum
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 15, 2012 -> 02:01 PM) To be fair...he's not the only reason the AL lost that game. Yes, but still. Awful having one of baseball's "stars" playing dirty. And there will always be that year where the AS MVP got busted. The 50-game penalty must not be enough of a deterrent to not take a chance. Make it a year, and see if that works.
southsider2k5
At least he is being honest. Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal Cabrera takes responsibility in statement. flavum
QUOTE (G&T @ Aug 15, 2012 -> 02:01 PM) AJ is gonna be up after him. It's not unfair to think something's up. The guy is putting up career numbers in a contract year at 35. I hope not, but who knows what these guys do. I'm sure the Sox aren't immune.
