southsider2k5
Mark Gonzales @MDGonzales Youkilis said his right knee has been bothering him for a while. RV not about to take any chances
Balta1701
Not surprising as he's been struggling for a while.
Melissa1334
would be nice if we could have someone besides olmedo at 3b.
LittleHurt05
His body slowly falling apart was one of the concerns when the Sox traded for him, so this isn't really a surprise. (No matter what, the trade was still worth it obviously)
Dick Allen
Youk is going to need some sort of offseason conditioning program. He's at the point in time where he can't get away with a body more resembling a weekend softball player.
Balta1701
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 19, 2012 -> 02:05 PM) Youk is going to need some sort of offseason conditioning program. He's at the point in time where he can't get away with a body more resembling a weekend softball player. I don't think there's anything you can do to keep him healthy on a full season other than have him at DH-1b. It's no coincidence that he started having the injury problems right after Boston acquired Gonzalez and moved Youk back to a much more physically demanding position.
