danman31
Interesting thing about Molina through 5 IP. He's got 9 groundouts to 1 flyout. That's unlike him.

Balta1701
For a guy who once batted behind Yaz, that's impressive.

caulfield12
Brent Morel goes 2/4 to push over the Mendoza line, to .213. Mitchell with his typical XB hit, 2 K game. Sitting at .240 now, low 700's OPS.

That is what will get him to Chicago. If he can do that, he will get up here very quickly
NorthSideSox72
Nice to see Phegley finally hitting better in AAA. Hitting .323 with a 1.051 OPS in his last 10 games, .283 and .882 in all of August.
Balta1701
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Aug 27, 2012 -> 09:32 AM) Nice to see Phegley finally hitting better in AAA. Hitting .323 with a 1.051 OPS in his last 10 games, .283 and .882 in all of August. Does he have to be protected on the 40 man this offseason? NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 27, 2012 -> 08:44 AM) Does he have to be protected on the 40 man this offseason? I'm not sure, though he's only in his 4th year in the minors. But the Sox always call up a 3rd catcher for September, and since neither him nor Gimenez are currently on the 40, I'd say Josh will be added anyway.
