Quentin Tarantino movies work here.

.

"I don't need you to tell me how f***ing good my coffee is, okay?"

Vincent: Have you ever given a foot massage?

Jules: Don't be telling me about foot massages, I'm the foot f***in' master.

Vincent: Given a lot of them?

Jules: s***, yeah. I got my technique down and everything, I don't be tickling or nothing.

5 long years he wore this watch...up his ass

If you threw a dart at the script of one of his movies, odds are it will land on something very quotable.

For sure. Pulp Fiction is nothing but great quotes. Another movie like that, for me (though not Tarantino) is Taxi Driver.

"You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then who the hell else are you talkin' to? You talkin' to me? Well, I'm the only one here. Who the f**k do you think you're talking to? Oh, yeah? Okay!"

"I think someone should just take this city and just... just flush it down the f*ckin' toilet."

"I got some bad ideas in my head."

"How's everything in the pimp business?"

"You get a job. You become the job."

"My man is looooaded."

I'm ashamed to admit that I had not seen that movie until this weekend. When I heard that line I nearly pissed myself. I loved the "and may god have mercy on your soul" at the end.

I'm ashamed to admit that I'm not actually sure what "that movie" is. :(

Fever Pitch, the original football-based one, had some great lines.

When we were younger, myself and a pal used to quote long tracts of the film 'Michael Collins' to each other. We'd probably still be able to do so if we met up for a pint, having not seen each other for over ten years!

The character, Begbie, in Trainspotting was the provider of some epics lines too.

Some of the movies me and my circle of friends quote on the regular are:

Holy Grail

Animal House

Caddyshack

Breakfast Club

Detroit Rock City

Outside Providence

Major League

Strange Brew

and maybe it's just me and my friends weird sense of humor, but the Cable Guy is probably number 1 on our list.

Not sure if any of these films would've got much of a viewing in the U.S., though, come to think of it.

Well, I used to quote them anyway. Mofos!!!

I love Strange Brew. It's bad and really dumb but I love it all the same.

"I gotta take a leak so bad I can taste it!"

Take off!

the problem is most people here are probably too young for strange brew. it didn't have the staying power of a caddyshack or blazing saddles.

Yea I'm only 28 and a lot of people my age just don't know some of these "classic" movies. Luckily I have a father that introduced me to all the old movies and old musicians that he liked as a kid and I've done my best to introduce my friends. He never forced me to watch or listen to anything, but did his best to make sure I knew it was out there so I could experience it for myself. If I ever have kids, I'll do the same.

I think every single line out of Bradd Pitt's mouth is quotable in Inglorious Basterds
