BaseballNick
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 2, 2012 -> 10:06 PM) Hudson hit the ball pretty hard. Too bad they had a man there. That was one of the more frustrating series I've seen in a while. Try to forget about that one and move on...
Wanne
QUOTE (Real @ Sep 2, 2012 -> 09:01 PM) 9-3-2012, the start of the downward spiral I thought it was 8-19-12 when we got swept by the Royals? Not gonna jump off the ledge til next week this time... Edited September 3, 2012 by Wanne
kitekrazy
I actually liked the line up. There was more speed. If they get on it exposes that Tiger D. But you have to get on base.

kitekrazy
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 2, 2012 -> 09:16 PM) Yep, like Flowers trying to steal Still can't believe the lack of bunting. It will be interesting if Hawk/Stone comment on it tomorrow. That ball almost went into CF. Too bad he's slow and didn't get the best jump. The old grindy Twins in the baggie dome would probably give the current Tiger's team fits. They would beat the ball in the ground and capitalize on poor defense. flavum
Sox went from 75.9% to 54.0% to win the division in 3 days. 54 seems high. It probably doesn't take into consideration young pitchers that have never logged innings like this.
Real
QUOTE (Baron @ Sep 2, 2012 -> 10:01 PM) I just I should go ahead and jump off a cliff now right? I don't think I would complain if you did champ!

greg775
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 3, 2012 -> 03:42 AM) New year, same Sox. I'm surprised more people aren't frustrated and/or upset. We refused to bunt at a lame third baseman who might as well been using crutches and despite having all these veterans played so unaggressively. Horrible horrible road trip. This team needs to right the ship quickly cause these veterans may lose interest if they are convinced we're not good enough to even win one playoff series. Our starting pitching is very average right now. Our hitting is horrible right now. Our bullpen is the same as always. OK but nothing to write home about. Team needs to start hitting home runs in bunches again or we're doomed.

2nd_city_saint787
Miguel Cabrera didn't look nearly as slow as you guys are saying. He made a pretty good play in front of the SS today at one point... And he looked fine on that tag play in the first game of the season. I think everyone is over over blowing the hell outta that...When it failed you'll be b****ing because they failed. Damned if ya do, damned if ya don't. Plain and simply we got beat by a team that is now 20-6 at home since the all star break aka they're tough to beat at home. But guess what fellas we're not playing them in detroit next week, they're coming here where the Sox have already won a series against them...Seasons not over people, lets continue to show our support to our team.
