After watching the Tigers for two weeks when they lose, they make it close. With the Sox it seems some games the concede to a loss and want to start over the next day. That could be that Cabrera and Fielder are hitting so well, it creates a lot of pressure for other teams.

Outside of when we're playing the Tigers, I think we do make it close when we lose. We don't get blown out by the Royals, they beat us in the 8th inning. The games against the Orioles were mostly close. The Sox have a ton of comebacks this year.

 

The only place that we just fold right now is against Detroit.

The Sox have done a great job all year of keeping games close. The team's overall +/- illustrates that.
