Flash Tizzle
Frank reminds us all of the eddie guardado at bat in the Twins series with that one. Great win for the Sox, and Frank does yardwork twice; just like that game too. We needed this win with Kc losing 11-6 in the 9th. Heres to the Sox. 2 games out
danman31
Frank was money tonight. 2 HRs, all the team's RBIs. This is a huge win in 2 ways. It gets the team's confidence back and it's a momentum builder.

Molto
here is an interesting question. early in Thomas' career, when he was awesome, he showed no ability to come through in the clutch. the past few season's, his numbers have been down, but he's become so much better of a clutch hitter. question is, who would you rather have? chosk8
Tears of joy, man. Sounded like Hawk was breaking up a little bit on the call at the end. Huge win. Helluva game Frank. Hats off to Buehrle and Washburn as well.

He was 1 for 11 with a 337 OPS vs Washburn coming into tonight! It's not something to snooze at. Especially with the way Washburn pitched tonight! SS only you would diss a 4 RBI, 2HR night that kept the SOX hopes alive. If they had lost tonight it would have been very hard to keep up hope. THE MAN's A F'G HERO TONIGHT! Once again, who started this thread? I am not dissing what he did, I am just saying look at his stats. This was the most likely scenario for Frank to be clutch, and you know this Mr NPERA-man. When you go calling out people, expect some backlash. And just to prove my point, would he have done it if the situation were reversed??? Do any numbers back it up??? witesoxfan
I don't give a s*** what his numbers are against a certain lefty. Point blank, he kills lefties. You could throw Randy Johnson out there, and I bet he'd have decent success off of him. As for which Frank I'd have.....with this team....I'd rather have the old one at all times. If he was playing 1B? Yes. If he was facing a RH? Yes. Why? Because Washburn has been on a tear in the 2nd 1/2 just like Buerhle. He's w/out question ANA's best pitcher right now. Scioscia (sp?) had so much confidence in him, that he went with 5 IF's believing that Washburn could get him to ground it. And with Frank being 2/12 vs Washburn it's not hard to see why. THE MAN'S A F'G HERO RIGHT NOW! If Koney had been the hero you'd probably be blowing his horn for him!

I was making reference to JUGGER calling you out. I find it funny, amongst Sox fans, that one poster would call another poster out just because one's opinion differs from the other. I have made numerous posts that have disagreed with posters here. Sometimes I'm right. Sometimes I'm wrong. But when I'm right, I've never taken the "I told you so" approach because, in the end, regardless of my opinion, I want the White Sox to win..... ANY WAY POSSIBLE! I even cheered for K-layton in 2001 and 2002 although I was revolted by the mere sight and/or mention of his name.

Im not gonna call him out when frank goes 0-5. Believe me i hope im wrong about Frank the rest of the season and the rest of his career. I just happen to think hes a selfish, whiny, immature baby. Who just breathed new life into the SOX season & kept it alive for another day! I'm so sick of the piss on Frank sheit that goes on here. The bottom line is that for the price they paid the SOX have gotten more than their $'s worth. As have SOX fans. I think that's worth a few ill-timed comments to the media over his career. Jim Fainter
Too bad Buerhle didn't stay in for the victory. Flash came within a gnat's ass of giving up a run in the ninth on that smash to the mound.
