Ramirez on fire now.

363 with batters in scoring position. 3rd in the AL. Passed Konerko again in the RBI race.

14/70 for a 200 average as a team in our current stretch with RISP.

Konerko still somehow 9th in the AL Batting Race after fading so badly.

14/72 with RISP, .194

Thanks, Paulie.

Is it just me or does Beckham seem to have a LOT better chance against a soft tosser? And the reason for this is the hitch in his swing?

He can't hit a fastball faster than 94.

Chen almost got stabbed by a broken bat.

Flowers continuing to put on a full-court press for starting catcher job in 2013.

For some odd reason, the Royals' announcers said a majority of the people they're talking to around the Sox are predicting AJ won't be here next year. Take it FWIW.

Tyler all the way up to a .748 OPS. Didn't dream it was possible after watching him in sporadic playing time the first 3-4 months.

For anyone who thinks Hawk sucks as an announcer, go back and listen to the Fox call of that last diving play by Moustakous. It was a great play, it sounded like he was calling a routine play at best.

The Royals' radio team went crazy on that play.
