This inning should of never happened. However we decided to start a bumbler who decided to take a stroll to first during a playoff push. Hopefully the manager learning on the job gets better in the long haul.

I'd love to hear his explanation for why he didn't let Alexei hit for Olmedo in the 6th inning. Maybe Kenny can question this team's intellect again.

Olmedo should never step foot on the field again

You can't win if you can't score. I blame the offense. I haven't been able to watch or even follow all of this game, but I did see a live look-in of Rios blowing a golden chance to win the game, and it was hard not to see the momentum shifting away from us right there.

I f***ing HATE the Royals. Garbage, garbage team.

5-10 against KC, 4-10 against DET

Cue Greg775 rant.

You just had a feeling this game was over when Rios hit into that DP.

But you would have thought when we actually threw out Escobar we were going to get out of the 10th unscathed.

Still want to know where that 3-2 pitch to Butler was?

Yes, he's terrible now

20 of 25 appearances have been scoreless. He's only given up runs to a non-Royals opponent twice. A week or two ago he was our only reliable reliever.

With the standards we have here, we wouldn't pitch anybody in late innings.

We can't still have the best BA with RISP, can we?

It feels like we're dead last in that category over the past few weeks

We were at .294.

Then it fell to .285, and that was a couple of days ago.

I think it's 15/81 now for the last 9 games, since Alexei's single couldn't score the runner...should have sent him anyway and hoped the Royals actually made a bad throw for once.
