kitekrazy
QUOTE (daa84 @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 03:42 PM) Wow that's among the worst ABs I've ever seen Hated that suicide attempt Especially when the hitter has a .300 avg. RISP.
caulfield12
Olmedo wasn't even a veteran from another team. He was more like a lifer AAAA journeyman hanging on for the salary and per diem in the International League.
fathom
QUOTE (daa84 @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 10:42 PM) Wow that's among the worst ABs I've ever seen Hated that suicide attempt Agreed, absolutely horrible call against a guy who was throwing the ball all over. If you do it, do it with 0 strikes to at least give ADA a chance to fight in the AB. Ventura and the stupid bunt today cost us dearly.
chw42
Who the f*** bats Ray Olmedo second? And how do you let Moustakas kill Myers AGAIN when Septimo was in the bullpen and ready? Robin's an awful on-field manager. Absolutely awful.
whitesoxfan101
It is unfathomable to me that we're in first place. I wonder if Tigers fans want to injure themselves as much as I do.

caulfield12
Dirks K's agianst FRIERI with a runner on 2nd and 2 outs. Still 3-2, bottom of the 8th. Sets the Sox up to lose 3/4 at home and still hold a first place tie going into next weekend. Feels about the same as the last 2-3 weeks of the 2008 season, where the Twins and White Sox were trying to give each other the division on virtually a daily basis. Ross
QUOTE (RZZZA @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 04:42 PM) Ray Olmedo would be more useful if he just got hit by the ball. Put your face in front of the ball next time, Olmedo. I lol'd. Worst AB by a Sox player that I've seen all year. Not running to 1st base on that one play combined with that at bat makes me question Robin. Hopefully we don't see any more Olmedo the rest of the year. I just can't believe the inability to beat the Kansas City Royals, a team that is 14 games under .500, may very well end up costing us the division. Sickening. chw42
My first reaction after Robin pulled Myers for Septimo: "f*** YOU ROBIN, YOU HAD SEPTIMO READY AND DIDN'T USE HIM AGAINST MOUSTAKAS?" Yes, I yelled that as loud as I can. Needless to say, I'm really f***ing pissed off at Robin right now.

caulfield12
Glad I stayed up from 2 to 6 a.m. on a work day. STUPID STUPID WHITE SOX, Olmedo and Ventura. Oh, and Myers. ZERO confidence in Quintana beating Porcello, who has owned the Sox this season. It all comes down to Peavy vs. Fister on Tuesday. Jake's got to show up. Also, zero confidence in Liriano beating Scherzer. In a way, it's fitting, the season rides on the shoulders of Peavy and Sale. Which Verlander will show up Thurday night? Which Sale? 89-91 MPH or 92-95 MPH version?
