caulfield12
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 01:43 PM) Just pissing away runs right now. Viciedo again can't deliver against the RHP. Free Dan Johnson! You know what Hawk's position on that would be...don't want to destroy Viciedo's confidence, etc. Hawks almost always is going to defend the starters, unless it's Brent Morel this season. fathom
QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 07:43 PM) Hey, look, another mistake from AJ. Run out of the box, jackass. I have no idea why he even considered running to 2nd on that one.
fathom
Santiago not even close in that AB. Always a bad idea to walk the #9 hitter.
JoshPR
Swinging at the fist piece of s*** they see, AJ bonehead play at least keep running to 2nd, neverknow of a wide throw or something.
caulfield12
So far we've got: 1) Alexei not showing up on time for the game 2) Olmedo not being able to execute a bunt 3) DeAza not taking out the catcher blocking the plate 4) No hitting with RISP 5) AJ calling a homer out of the box and not running all out after contact and getting picked off between 1st and 2nd Looks like it will be Yankees, Orioles 1 GB and Rays 2 GB...down to the wire in the AL East. Cerbaho-WG
QUOTE (BlackBetsy @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 01:49 PM) See #1. Robin could have moved him to the 9th spot. Instead he leaves him there, which means more ABs for probably the worst hitter on the team.
caulfield12
You can't lose the LH hitter and take on Butler over and over again and get away with it.

Yes, which is probably because of the screwball which he doesn't throw to RH batters. Good job, Hector!

caulfield12
Righties, only .204 but 792 OPS and 9 homers Lefties, .229, but a MUCH lower 631 OPS and only 1 homer

caulfield12
Rios, DeAza twice and AJ all hitting the ball pretty darned hard to the OF. But too many White Sox brain cramps to take advantage and jump out to the early advantage.
BlackBetsy
For a team that takes the least walks in the league, our pitchers are sure throwing a LOT of pitches against the Royals.
