greg775
6-to-1 win. Excellent. Stoney is summarizing the win beautifully. Lotta home runs and good starting pitching is the Sox victory formula.
kitekrazy
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 10, 2012 -> 09:02 PM) DET would be 1-9 if not for their 3 game sweep of us. They're struggling even worse than we are, and questions abound on Verlander's health. He has a miracle recovery when he faces the Sox.
caulfield12
Peavy versus Fister tomorrow. Setting up as another huge game, with ALL the pressure now back on the Tigers. Put up, shut up time for Peavy, if there ever was one.

kitekrazy
I thought Beckham would decide to show off like a moron and drop the ball, but nope, that only happens to Infante. .266 .331 .367 with 7 errors since the trade. TaylorStSox
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Sep 10, 2012 -> 10:09 PM) Reed was wasted tonight. Yeah, he was stumbling all over the place. I thought those guys weren't drinking in the bullpen anymore.
JoshPR
We need to crush them this series, they look exhausted and uninspired team, don't give them any chance to come back
greg775
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Sep 11, 2012 -> 03:09 AM) Reed was wasted tonight. It can't hurt that he breezed through the ninth. Closing is confidence as much as anything else. Like somebody said, Crain and Thornton were unavailable and nobody wants Myers in there with that contract thing hanging over the Sox heads. I'm glad Reed pitched.
kitekrazy
On Reed This guy's ERA in non-save situations is over 6. Which means he strikes out the side.

kitekrazy
After a tiger fan referred to Kenny as a brain damaged GM. Kenny Williams has been just as good or better than Dombrowski. For as bad as his farm system was supposed to be...he brought in a ton of arms that seem to have done very well.
