toasty Posted August 19, 2003 Share Posted August 19, 2003 As heard on ESPN1000, Bruce Levine stating that Jose Paniagua is going to be observed/examined by sox execs in the dominican, if they see what they like, they must get him a visa then will put him in charlotte for a few days and then get him to Chicago.... more pen help but i dont know that its that good ? Chisoxfn Posted August 19, 2003 Share Posted August 19, 2003 Paniagua has always had a hell of an arm. I suspect the last two season he was hurt and he's finally healthy. I know he's had some rest and hopefully that means he's 100%. When this guy is on, he's pretty filthy. Either way, if he doesn't pan out you lose 25K, if he does, then the Sox fill the void in the pen and have a guy that can still contribute the next few years.
