caulfield12
Knowing Gardenhire and Ryan, that's probably the last time you'll see Perdomo in a Twins' uniform after that performance. They HATE walks.
Noonskadoodle
Solid effort from Jose there haha 3 more outs!
caulfield12
Please, no more bases loaded situations. It's unbearable how bad we are when that happens. Matt Thornton will be 36 tmrw, FWIW. 7 straight years with 60+ appearances, 2006-2012. Edited September 15, 2012 by caulfield12
fathom
I don't think Jose Lopez has ever homered to the opposite field according to his HR log.
Swingandalongonetoleft
Solid approach with the bases loaded and none out. Would have been something to talk about if it weren't for the 5 spot.

BlackBetsy
I would have gone maybe Marinez, Omogrosso or Jones here, but whatever. Definitely not Reed.

Definitely not Reed. Omogrosso is being saved for Cabrera on Monday. Same with Septimo against Fielder. Shades of Rajai Davis trying to flip the ball to another fielder for a throw from short LF in the Blue Jays series, lol. Going for the highlight reel play. Noonskadoodle
Matt has only given up 6 hits & 2 earned runs in his past 11 outings now. Plus only 1 walk Not too bad.
caulfield12
YAY, most boring/uneventful/non-bullpen messed up/decently managed game in MONTHS. Sale had a 6.60 ERA in his last stretch of road starts. And the White Sox had a 1-9 stretch of road pathetic-ness, too, broken. Both Verlander and Sale showed up from the get-go tonight. Verlander hadn't won since right after the ASB on the road. Chris is now tied with Price and Weaver at 17 wins...or did Price get his 18th tonight against the Yankees?
