White Sox forgetting to hit the ball up the middle and to the opposite field like earlier in the season when they were going so well offensively.

Manto and Ventura really need to wake them up somehow before we get swept away by Haren and Weaver.

Get their asses out of bed for a mini Spring training camp.

At some point in the future, we'll have runners who can beat out those plays....unlike Dunn, Konerko and AJ. Station to station corpseball in the 2nd half has left so many runners in scoring position at 2nd and 3rd because they can't advance two bases at a time.

It's like they're all standing around and waiting for the homers instead of taking good approaches, knowing Santana's leading the majors in taters given up.

Have you ever seen a team that goes on as many mini stretches of goodness and badness as our White Sox? Four or five good ones; four or five lousy ones.

Baseball in general is just a sport with a ton of infuriating peaks and valleys.

like someone explain to me what the hell happened to Youk? He looks awful suddenly.

Up and down, up and down...individual players, and as a team...up and down all season long. It's tiring.

I don't want Peavy back with the Sox, discount or not. All he does is throw fat 90 mph fastballs and hanging sliders. The dude is garbage.

Wise is in CF, this game is still tied 1-1 and you're not calling Peavy garbage.

DeAza in CF is playing like garbage, that much is true.

Meanwhile, the White Sox hitting .241 on the road and looking to be dead in the water with just one hit.

Bad hop prevents Ramirez from making a play, but he probably would have been safe anyway at 1B.

Yep, that isn't one Peavy.

You are on fire with your observations. How do you do it? Some nights it's easier to just generalize and say, 'We suck.'

stick a fork in this team, they're done

You are worse than me. The Sox are definitely in a funk, but not done until Detroit takes a 1-game lead. At that point I'd say we're toast.

Giving up 6 hits in 3 innings is not bad luck. Besides the Pujols hit, the others were struck solidly.

Peavy isn't good anymore. Without the wipeout slider he had in SD, he's just another guy.

Wonder if DeAza is hurt.

Anyway CF play cost us last night and tonight.

Maybe not having a bench all season and overworking the starters is coming back to hurt them as this team looks tired and unprepared.

Albert may drive in mroe runs them them this whole series. Seems like weeks since a four run inning.

The Angel hit him really good. He has a 5.40 career era.

Most CF's are going to play deep with Pujols at the plate. I don't have a problem with ADA not catching the ball. He should have cut it off though.

The Tigers play horribly on the road...where they will be to end the season.

The Tigers are also going to have a much more difficult time sweeping the Twins with a day/night doubleheader Sunday.

As long as we're in first place on Monday, even if it's a tie for 1st, we'll probably be okay.

Even if we're down by 1, we play the Indians well and the Rays might already be eliminated from all reasonable contention...not to mention we don't face David Price as things are currently lining up, obviously subject to change.
