caulfield12
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 23, 2012 -> 04:04 PM) Youk doesn't look healthy at all. It's amazing to me how pull happy he's become. Maybe YOM KIPPUR and a return to USCF will replenish his magical Greek powers.

fathom
6 innings, no runs against Weaver with the worst stuff he's ever had against the Sox.
JohnCangelosi
I'd take Gavin as my #2 starter right now in a playoff series.

No desire for the organization to add Morel to the call up list says a lot. They could probably use him. He couldn't do worse than the big money guys in the line up. caulfield12
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 23, 2012 -> 04:11 PM) 6 innings, no runs against Weaver with the worst stuff he's ever had against the Sox. Lowering his career ERA against the Sox to the 1.50's. But that would mean we should have ONE run, at least. You could start Ruffcorn, Broadway or McCulloch against the Sox this week and get a CG victory. Edited September 23, 2012 by caulfield12

Ianetta now 0/11 career against Gavin. Making the decision to go after Wells even more interesting. Wells gets a hit there, he's .400 career against Gavin Floyd, or 10/25. caulfield12
walk=double for Trout Playoff rotation, if we survive: Sale, Floyd, Hector Santiago, lol Well, that was pretty much inevitable. Mr. Pujols now. Edited September 23, 2012 by caulfield12
JohnCangelosi
QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Sep 23, 2012 -> 02:54 PM) That's fine for fantasy baseball. He's no threat to any AL pitcher. Worst #3 hitter in baseball. High K rate doesn't work in the AL. He's the first guy I get off this team. Fine, then bat him at 5. Good luck finding a left handed bat that gives you 40&100 on the free agent market

caulfield12
Bad Gavin shows up and gives up a rocket for his 46th double. The funny thing is that the Angels are kicking our asses all over the field, they're going to be 2 1/2 games back (at best) trailing the A's after today and we could still conceivably be 1 game up after losing an absolutely miserable 5 games in a row. Hahahaha. Crain warming. Strike Gavin Floyd from that playoff rotation. We have no rotation to speak of at this point.

He sucks at the plate and his defense has been awful of late as well.
JohnCangelosi
There's no reason to get our main guys in the pen up right now. Bring in Humber, we ain't scoring today.

No need to call Viciedo names, it wasn't an easy ball to cut off with the backhand, and who really expected to beat Weaver in a must-win game for the Angels anyways? Probably nobody....as evidenced by the dead gamethread.
