That pretty much describes every team in Chicago besides the Cubs and the 2010 Blackhawks

It's the reality of being the second team in the second city. In reality, we're a mid market team with mid market results. We don't draft in the top 10 often. FA's don't want to come here to play for the second team in the second city, and never have. Hey, at least we're not the Brewers!

This. Team. Blows.

The team has done a #2 in the bed for sure. Hopefully it can clean itself off and regroup before it is too late. It appears the worse we will be after today is tied with Detroit. I just think it's a shame though on how the pitchers can't shut down the oposition and our hitters can't hit in the clutch. I want to keep being positive but we have some hard games coming up and can't produce

Yep, Adam Dunn supposedly wanted to play for the Cubs, but since they didn't offer him a contract, he decided to play for the Sox.

Fukadome was offered more money by the Sox but wanted to play for the Cubs. Imagine how bad that would be.
