If you go, you can finally meet your hero, TheBigHurtBEGOOD, since he doesn't live very far from there!

clujer420
Atlantic City has Donald Trump (one of the true business geniuses in the world -- gone from the outhouse to the penthouse, back to the outhouse, and back to the penthouse once more), but that's about it I'd say. Spend the extra cash on airfare and go to Vegas.
SAVVY18
I was on vacation in Pennsylvania last week and we took a ride to A.C. it was pretty cool. I haven't been to Vegas, so I can't compare the two. Since I like the Ocean, I thought it was great to have the Casino's on one side and the Atlantic on the other. The Boardwalk is sweet. We were there on a Sunday and they also had the Puerto Rican Day Parade going on, so it was really crowded out there. The Casino's were big enough that it didn't seem as crowded on the inside. I would consider taking a longer trip there in the future.

Chisoxfn
Well if the option was Vegas or Atlantic City I'd say Vegas. Never been to Atlantic City, I've only heard it was dirty, but I'm guessing they've cleaned it up since then.
Al Lopez Ghost (old)
I've been there on business 3 times, and I'm going back next week. I'm sure Vegas is better, and way better. We stay at Bally's which is a nice hotel, and there are plenty others up and down the Boardwalk, but that's it. You really don't want to go into the city, per se. So it's nice, but a little limited compared to Las Vegas.
Steff
Don't really care about the gambling.. not going for that although probably will do some. So there's no decision between there and Vegas.
Al Lopez Ghost (old)
Not much to do in Atlantic City if you don't gamble. Whereas in Vegas one hotel looks like Paris, one looks like NYC, one has circus acts, etc. I think there would be more activities of a nongambling nature in Las Vegas. 1549
I am not old enough to Gamble, so I was kind of bored in Atlantic City, but there is great candy along the boardwalk, and the meatloaf and trump tower was above average.
