fathom
What a terrible, terrible slide by De Aza. I'm not so sure he touched the plate with his leg before being tagged. Also it looks like he slowed up before sliding.

caulfield12
I do think his right front foot got up in the air a bit and he didn't get it back down in time. Huge momentum shift against the Sox. We just can't catch a break to save our lives right now.

Cerbaho-WG
I would give up my entire 401K for Dunn to blast a 500 ft HR and give double birds to the home plate umpire.
fathom
QUOTE (Noonskadoodle @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 01:11 AM) Wasnt even "CLOSE" Yes it was, unfortunately.
justBLAZE
Maybe his foot was up in the air. Hey maybe that's something that will get this team fired up.
caulfield12
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 07:10 PM) What a terrible, terrible slide by De Aza. I'm not so sure he touched the plate with his leg before being tagged. Also it looks like he slowed up before sliding. There was a bit of last second hesitation...and then his right front foot was up in the air and didn't get back down until the tag was applied. 95% of the time, in that situation, with the ball arriving late, he's safe. Just incredible.

Noonskadoodle
Why must we continue to chase the high fastball?
justBLAZE
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 08:12 PM) At the game. Call as bad as it looked? Looks pretty bad, but the replay are not showing if De Aza's foot was up in the air.
Cerbaho-WG
This team can't hit fastballs right down the middle.
fathom
QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 01:12 AM) I would give up my entire 401K for Dunn to blast a 500 ft HR and give double birds to the home plate umpire. I would give up my 401k to bench Dunn for Dan Johnson.
