fathom
QUOTE (JoshPR @ Sep 30, 2012 -> 07:36 PM) Flowers doesn't hardly play, hard to be consistent. Hey I love what AJ did these past 8 years, very durable guy. But I think it's time to refresh, AJ's defense has been mediocre at best and the pitch calling hasn't been all that either, granted that it could be comming from the bench Flowers in a full season having to face RHP consistently is a recipe for a sub .200 batting average

This isnt new. There is no point for a refresh. AJ looks fine. Your not going to keep him for 7 years.

Flash Tizzle
This is quickly becoming fun-bad. They're incapable of generating offense, and when they do -- the pitching staff gives it right back. That irritates me more than anything as a fan, I couldn't imagine how the players feel. They haven't built momentum for anything but terrible baseball these last two weeks.

What you described in your last post was the definition of making a change just for the sake of making a change. Which is why the front office wont do it. Buehrle>Wood
One of the few things we haven't done while choking is throw a wild pitch on a IBB. Might as well Nate

Seems like 25% of the runners they've had in the last two weeks went on to get thrown out on the bases.

fathom
Cooper should work with Nate Jones on a 4 seam fastball. He'd get a lot more swing and misses with his fastball if he was able to throw it up in the zone consistently.

WilliamTell
QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 30, 2012 -> 02:51 PM) Twins threaten, don't score Doesn't even matter to me unless the Sox can pull a miracle and win. Just so frustrating to see a pleasant season for the most part end in such a sour note if they can't pull off an improbable comeback.
Flash Tizzle
Yep, that's about expected. Just quick dragging this charade out Detroit and beat Minnesota. Also, I'm all for losing out the season. Why not enjoy their futility?
