justBLAZE
Let's get Jimmy a ring, go O's! Can a mod edit the poll to add Tigers and Giants? This 2 team wildcard is messing me up. Edited October 4, 2012 by knightni
Big Hurtin
Orioles. I can't stand Buck Showalter, but otherwise I don't have anything against them. It would be nice for Thome to win a ring also.

Buehrle>Wood
Yankees. They're the team that will enjoy it least. You left out a few teams... Edited October 3, 2012 by Buehrle>Wood
Y2Jimmy0
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 3, 2012 -> 07:36 AM) Yankees. They're the team that will enjoy it least. You left out a few teams... The Thome story would be fine by me. I want the A's to win one finally though. A lot of people hate Billy Beane but he accomplishes a ton with the restrictions put on him. The A's winning a World Series would be a cool story.
southsider2k5
Cardinals and Rangers. I don't want to see the O's win, because I don't want to see Angelos get to be rewarded for ruining one of the great franchises in baseball.
LittleHurt05
I'm strongly rooting against Washington & Detroit. If I had to pick a result to root for, I'd like to see Texas win a game 7 in St. Louis.

greg775
I can't argue with trying to get Thome a ring. I love Thome. But if he can't win. DETROIT!!!! Win every game and enter next season fat and happy. Detroit needs to win it all so the Sox can win over the overconfident Tigers and pesky Royals next season. Swingandalongonetoleft
I voted Cinci, but really I'm good as long as the Rangers and perhaps Yankees don't win.

GoodAsGould
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Oct 6, 2012 -> 01:34 AM) Thome. Nats stupid for shutting down Stras though. They still got the 1/2 punch with Gio/Zimmerman, I think if they lose in playoffs it won't be from the SP.

Yeah, but a 1-2-3 punch would be even better. I don't think Stras is too happy either. I remember an interview earlier in the year where he said if the Nats got to the WS, you'd have to tear the ball from his hands. He might take the high road now, but I can't imagine him being happy at all.
claydude14
Voted Nats. AL-wise A's and O's obviously. I will cheer for the Yankees if Detroit and them make the ALCS though, f*** Detroit.

That great movie that never mentioned the roided up MVP or the starting pitchers they drafted in the early rounds.
