mr_genius
QUOTE (kev211 @ Oct 11, 2012 -> 09:40 PM) Ranting and Raving on abortion and a question from a soldier would've been a bad idea that's never stopped him before. but there is probably a method to his madness. he has lasted a long time in politics and reached VP being Joe Biden. Soxbadger
the problem for independent voters is that Ryan is so strict on abortion, that just is a killer.
kev211
Anyone else think it was ridiculous that Ryan brought up the car accident story knowing full well Biden lost his wife and daughter in one?
Cknolls
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 11, 2012 -> 09:37 PM) Haha yah my bad And friend is different, people use that all the time. Id have no problem if Ryan used friend. Anyway I was just saying his "thanking biden" wasnt exactly classy. Maybe he should have said hey joe want don't we go outside so I can wipe that smile off your face. Biden even smirked when Ryan thanked him. Yeah thanking your opponent is a s***ty thing to do. Jenksismyhero
Sounds like the reaction so far is everyone is happy, mostly a draw, maybe Ryan with a slight win just because Biden came off as less "presidential" with the disrespectful responses. But that sorta was expected I think since that's Biden.
Soxbadger
Well I dont think under any circumstances hardcore Republicans would say Biden won, so a draw was best case scenario.

So much bulls*** thrown around in that room it's almost disrespectful to the audience. everyone just goes and watches the coverage that is pro-their-candidate. So Republicans watch FOX News. Democrats watch, ABC, CBS, NBC, or CNN. Splits their ratings and FOX looks like the news king.
Soxbadger
It really doesnt matter. Economics and Foreign Policy will be a split, I think this election comes to social issues and I doubt Ryan was persuasive enough to convince people to ban abortion. I dont think people understand the consequence of that. Imagine millions of more mouths to feed, who is going to pay?

If thats true than Republicans will win according to my theory. I have no clue, I would hope most Americans would not want govt intervention based on religious morals, but Ive been wrong before. (edit) here are stats http://www.gallup.com/poll/154838/pro-choi...record-low.aspx As you can see it fluctuates, so who knows. Soxbadger
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 11, 2012 -> 10:48 AM) Im feeling a reverse of Obama/Romney. Biden sticks to nonsense talking points, Ryan tries to be analytical, end result people think Biden won. For the record Id like to say that this whole process is overwhelmingly boring. Jake
Biden absolutely mopped the floor tonight. Ryan was backpedaling and bulls***ting constantly. None of it matters though, this is the VP debate.
Buehrle>Wood
AP has Ryan winning 51-43. CNN had Ryan winning 49% to 44%. So pretty close. Biden's job was not to f*** up tonight. He did that.
