witesoxfan
Daal to talk to Brewers/Gord Ash sighting Not only that, but it also means that we will probably not get Omar Daal for the $2.5 mill a year if he gets what he is looking for....over $5 mill a year? He's reaching a bit there, if you ask me...jeezus that is a lot of money for a mediocre lefty. What has the game come to? Gord Ash is the assistant GM of the Brewers...lol, he's sunk quite a ways. Maybe in 2 years KW will be the assistant GM of the Devil Rays.
mac9001
No way is Daal worth 5 mil, maybe 3 at most, but not 5!
Chisoxfn
At 5 mill we'd be nuts. Then you might as well spend the extra little bit to get Paul Byrd.

Exactly...... I am in big support of signing Daal, but for 5 mil? He's f***ing dreaming. I think we could get Byrd for about that much... maybe a half mil more. I hope Daal gets his 5 mil from the Brew Crew, and he absoultely gets lit up. Weak hitting + Horrible defense + bad bullpen = a buttload of fun for a mediocre lefty. baggio202
if daal came out and ask for 2.5 million then he probably wouldnt get it...he's asking for 5..probably settle for
Chisoxfn
Your probably right, but I can just see the Brewers offering him a lot. Heck, it would take me a lot more money to play for a crapola team like the Brewers.
