dasox24
I know this is a Sox board, but with the game going on, I thought that maybe some Bears fans here would want to know this. The Bears traded Ted Washington to New England for a 2004 4th round draft pick. I don't have the link, but there are articles on Chicagosports.com and ESPN about it

Flash Tizzle
Bears might as well just go out and say they have no hopes for this season. How can you trade the Mini-Fridge to the Pats. Colvin is already tearing it up over there, now we give them another defensive monster. Anyways, Bears always have terrible picks in the draft so it will end up being wasted. Chisoxfn
I was hoping I was going to see that they acquired Fred Smoot. The Bears do have a ton of depth at the tackle position. I think this move means that Brob and Traylor will start inside and on passing situations Daniels and Brob will play inside, as well as Boone, Tafoya and Scott. The Bears do have depth on the defensive front. I just hope they sign Big Cat.

Also, BRob could possibly be suspended by the NFL, so that adds to the depth concerns.
Cerbaho-WG
Washington has a, I believe, a Lis Franc foot injury which could really hamper him forever.
southsider2k5
WTF??? The only thing I can think of is that they are clearing salary room for something?

Soxfest
WTF??? The only thing I can think of is that they are clearing salary room for something? TW only cost 1.63 million this year this was not a cap relief trade.

CubsSuck1
I'm hoping for an Orlando Pace trade keep dreamin... supposedly Urlacher is unhappy with the trade. I have to agree with him. Our D struggled so much without ted last year, because Ted and Keith could plug up the hole on the line, leaving urlacher free to roam. And we can't expect Boone to replace washington, even daniels is a far stretch. And a fourth round pick? pfft......

Assclown trade is meaningless as far as cap problems go.
southsider2k5
Assclown trade is meaningless as far as cap problems go. If you consider almost $2 million "meaningless" you need a little perspective
