Meyer was a 1st round pick and put up some really good numbers this year, and now they can see if Ben Revere turns into a really good leadoff hitter. Span's a good hitter, but he's a flawed player. He's fast but can't steal bases, shaky defensively at times, doesn't always hit for great average, no real power to speak of.
