ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (flavum @ Nov 10, 2012 -> 05:17 PM) Somebody on twitter is trying hard to spread the word that catcher Bryan Anderson is coming to the Sox from St. Louis. He was outrighted to AAA Memphis last week. Possible, I guess. That somebody made a good call.

ChiliIrishHammock24
What was the LOWEST pitch hit for a HR last season you ask? Delmon Young's lucky 3-run HR off Sale..... http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/index.php/t...-low-home-runs/ The ball was about 11 1/2 inches off the ground. EDIT: Delmon also had the 2nd farthest inside pitch hit for a HR. The #1 on that list? Miggy. Edited November 21, 2012 by JoeCoolMan24

Luck that he was able to hit that, and hit it hard enough to flip it over the wall. Not luck that he guessed right.

ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Nov 26, 2012 -> 12:32 PM) Hey Joe, or any other insider, is there anything new worth noting in the insider article "White Sox need a 3B." http://insider.espn.go.com/mlb/features/ru..._/date/20121124 Nah, nothing of interest here. Just says Hahn's first choice would be to bring back Youkils, Viciedo to 3B remains a worst case scenario solution, and could look at short-term vets like Rolen, Chavez, Polanco, DeRosa. Could also consider Scutaro, Kelly Johnson, Keppinger, or Freddy Sanchez and put them at 3B, or move Beckham to 3B.

cabiness42
I want it. It does have a 'Customize' button on the site, so maybe one of the customizations you could get is to replace the Twins logo with a Sox logo.

I'm pretty sure that's what they do, it's just ironic that they put a Twins logo on it and advertise it on the White Sox site.

Correct. It's clearly an error as every other customizable item on there already has the Sox logo on it.

ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Nov 26, 2012 -> 11:12 PM) Is it just me or is this offseason dragging in regard to Sox moves? The whole free agent market is crawling. The largest deal signed so far was the Jake Peavy $29M deal. Can you imagine what it must be like for other teams? Sheesh. Winter Meetings in a week can't come soon enough. Edited November 27, 2012 by JoeCoolMan24
spiderman
QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Nov 26, 2012 -> 10:12 PM) Is it just me or is this offseason dragging in regard to Sox moves? It has, but it takes just one move to get this place moving and to predict moves off of that. Sox moves are also sort of in a holding pattern until AJ and Youk's destinations are determined. It is still pretty early. We haven't even gotten to the winter meetings yet. Plus the top free agents all have major question marks.

justBLAZE
Hahn said if they can't sign or trade for a 3B they will go with internal. Moving Beckham back to 3B not really option. Teams are calling asking for Sox pitchers, both SP and RP. Enough resources here to win.
