juddling
Is there something i'm missing??? i try to trade with a team (a normal trade not these 12 for 12 trades we've seen) and the other team says it needs a starting 1B. I offer my starting 1B and they say no...they need a 1B. i was only asking for a few minor league players for my MLB starter. Is the computer taking the money into account (thinking it does) anyone else having this problem???? LAA always up for trade offers. all offers entertained. infallable
As far as I can tell, that's just the general message when you aren't offering them enough value. They also reiterate their team needs, regardless of what's in the trade currently. The better message is "I like this offer, but it gives me a bit too much talent at one position". Especially when it's a one for one trade of two players at the same position. Seems like that message just means that one of the players in the trade is someone the CPU just flat out won't accept. Message from Joe: Note that the trade deadline is after tonight's sim. He says he's looking for a SP and a guy who's last name rhymes with "Yotsay". issacar
I know the trade deadline is passed, but just putting my heads up when the market re-opens, I have a little too much depth on pitching and could use some more hitter. I could let go of Chad Bradford who is very solid.
2nd_city_saint787
How on earth do I add the leagues MVP, get Mauer back, and then proceed to lose 17 games in the standings(4 games up to 13 behind)?? LAME.
bigruss
QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Dec 24, 2012 -> 02:27 PM) How on earth do I add the leagues MVP, get Mauer back, and then proceed to lose 17 games in the standings(4 games up to 13 behind)?? LAME. I don't know how Morneau has 250+ walks, but how any team loses with a guy like that is unbelievable Plus you have the Sox as 30 games over .500, not sure how they're doing that considering the team isn't THAT good. But I know what you mean, I didn't really detract from a good offense, but added CC, Santana, Wainright, and Anibal Sanchez to my rotation and not one of them has produced as well as they should.
