2nd_city_saint787
Awesome, I get to stay home allllll byyyyyy myyyyyseelllfff because no one wants to pick me up and I'd rather not give up nearly 2 weeks of being marijuana free. Welp, I have 2012 recorded on my DVR and with their only being 4 hours amd 15 minutes left in 2012 I might as well watch it.
Brian
QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Dec 31, 2012 -> 05:26 PM) Staying at home and watching Dark Knight Rises and Looper, neither of which I've seen. Oh, and eating a ton of snacky stuff. Having worked 20 years at the Abbey and Grand Geneva, I always hated New Years Eve, because I always worked it and dealt with drunks. Nice to just stay at home and enjoy the peace and quiet. Ha. I rewatched Dark Knight Rises this afternoon, after I bought Looper.
Balta1701
Ok, it's been a full year, and I'm still b****ing and angry about Cee Lo deciding he was worthy of editing Imagine.
BigSqwert
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 30, 2012 -> 06:57 PM) I hopefully will be in the hospital. (My wife is due January 1st) Congrats! This is great news!
BigEdWalsh
QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 31, 2012 -> 07:01 PM) Ha. I rewatched Dark Knight Rises this afternoon, after I bought Looper. Made for a great double feature.
The Critic
My wife and I saw This Is 40 (which was OK, but pretty depressing for a comedy) and then went to the Wild Monk in LaGrange for dinner and drinks with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. Had a very nice time and some very good food. Can't complain at all about the entire night.
Brian
Made it to midnight. I was shocked as well.
Texsox
Gathered downtown at midnight for our street festival. It was 27 degrees in Chicago, 72 degrees here. Ah, life is wonderful.
Iwritecode
I had my usual NYE celebration. Wife was at work, I was playing my PS3 in the living room and the kids were playing on the computer. I paused my game long enough to watch the ball drop, texted my wife and then went back to playing my game. I have the same plans for next year. bigruss
Went to a bar with friends, the Barn or something like that in Lincoln Park. It was one of those all you can drink deals, and for the price I paid I was pretty happy with it (top shelf was included). Left at 1am though, definitely starting to get older
