Staying at home and watching Dark Knight Rises and Looper, neither of which I've seen. Oh, and eating a ton of snacky stuff.

Having worked 20 years at the Abbey and Grand Geneva, I always hated New Years Eve, because I always worked it and dealt with drunks. Nice to just stay at home and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Ha. I rewatched Dark Knight Rises this afternoon, after I bought Looper.

My wife and I saw This Is 40 (which was OK, but pretty depressing for a comedy) and then went to the Wild Monk in LaGrange for dinner and drinks with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. Had a very nice time and some very good food. Can't complain at all about the entire night.

I had my usual NYE celebration. Wife was at work, I was playing my PS3 in the living room and the kids were playing on the computer.

I paused my game long enough to watch the ball drop, texted my wife and then went back to playing my game.

I have the same plans for next year.

Went to a bar with friends, the Barn or something like that in Lincoln Park. It was one of those all you can drink deals, and for the price I paid I was pretty happy with it (top shelf was included).

Left at 1am though, definitely starting to get older :P
