Rooftop Shots
I know that this isn't worth a tread of its own and it can be deleted at any time, but just wanted to note that after 9 years, I FINALLY made it to the 1000 post club. Today commemorates my 9th anniversary on Soxtalk......so I thought that I may just as well post it now. I know its no big deal.................but just somethimng that i wanted to do. Thanks to everyone at Soxtalk for passing along all of the information that you gather on all aspects of the team..................and to all of the mods who have helped me out when I had questions about some uncertainties that I was unfamilair with when posting. I also know that I am not well known or noted for posting much. I guess I really only post when I feel that I have something to say...or when there is something that i feel that I can add to the conversation. I do enjoy reading much of the info and opinions that everyone has on a daily basis from though. Anyway..... Thank you to EVERYONE for all of your input.......................all the way from new members and all the way up to the 5 and upcoming 6 figure posters. Rooftop Shots
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 1, 2013 -> 10:28 AM) and please post more. Sometimes I would, but most times my postings never have comments made on them whereas I can get involved in the discussion, so in a way it is telling me that either what I post is irrelavant, has no validity to them, or because I am not one of the "regulars." Anyway that is why I do only post occasionally when I feel that I have a valid comment or if I have a question about some player info. Usually when questions are brought up there are some very informative peiople on this board that will come up with a good answers when the question pertains to a player / team etc. So in essence even though I post very little, I do enjoy te Soxtalk board and all its posters and always read and check for updates a couple of times per day. Great work to all who are behind the scenes as well as up front.

Both pretty much started together (you beat me by a few hours.. ) PM'd a bit over the years and had certain fan clubs back in the day. I remember you joking about reaching 1,000 years ago here. You were already pretty long in the tooth to begin with. About time brother.

Rooftop Shots
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jan 4, 2013 -> 02:15 PM) Getting up there in age. OHHHHH you are very funny my friend. I owe you one Big Time LOL. Just looked up the origin and this is what I found. "Long in the tooth" means old. It refers to the fact that one can determine a horse's age by looking at its teeth. A horse's gums recede as it ages causing its teeth to look "long." You forgot one thing.........Old horses can also be used as STUDS!! weeeeeeeheeeeeeeeeeeee I found that info in a "Gallop" pole
