I had some minor water damage due to the last big storm in April. Now every storm that comes has me freaking out.

It happened 2-3 years ago after that 7 or 8 inches of rain in like 2 hours, I chalked it up to a freak storm. But yeah after April's smaller storm, I definitely worry about it every time it storms. Especially since the guy just put up the new drywall today, which would be a double kick to the nuts.

I live about 100 yards from a river and our 80 year old house has never had flooding issues. A little luck with elevation, etc. and the house was built by the town's top contractor when it was built. Concrete basement, good gutters, etc. Hope our luck continues.

Grainger's website needs to be more like McMaster's

Meh, we typically get very positive feedback on our site. Little known fact, we were like #14 in revenue in E-commerce, must be doing something right with the site :P

Yep, I never had an issue with DirecTV last night. I was also one of the few at Home Depot that walked away with a generator. They had pallets at the front of the store that had been stacked but were empty. Lots of people left empty handed. Now i'll have this gigantic box in my garage for the next 3 years and it'll never be used.

My drive home was pretty uneventful. I drove through a few pockets of hard rain but nothing bad enough where my wipers couldn't keep up. The wind affected me a little bit when I started heading due north but I never saw any hail. I didn't even see all that much lightening.

I forgot to put on deodorant this morning before leaving for work. Here is a graph of my comfort level as the day has gone on, with the Y-Axis being noon

I'm sure that applies to the poor bastards that have to sit next to your stank ass, too.

Your comfort level has increased exponentially as the day has gone on? Weird.

Yes. No. Discomfort. Dammit, it keeps getting worse.

Keeping the pitsies shut pretty tight today. Best part is that I get to go for a haircut after this too! f***
